Hasten to Break the Fast

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "The people will remain upon goodness as long as they hasten to break the fast." [Jami at-Tirmidhi - sahih hadith]

With the certainty of the setting of the sun, the fasting person should break their fast without delay or hesitation. This is a sign of being on the rightly guided sunnah (path/example) of Muhammad (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam).

It is preferred for the fasting person to not delay in breaking the fast once the sun has set. “The Sahabah of Muhammad (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) would be the first to break the fast and the last to eat their pre-dawn meals.” [Recorded by al-Baihaqi with a Sahih chain]

No Prophet After Me

Thawban (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.W) said: "The Hour shall not be established until tribes of my Ummah unite with the idolaters, and until they worship idols. And indeed there shall be thirty imposters in my Ummah, each of them claiming that he is a Prophet. And I am the last of the Prophets, there is no Prophet after me." Ridiculing Allah’s Commands

Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “It was said to the children of Israel, ‘Enter the gate (of the town), prostrate (in humility) and say: Hittatun (repentance) i.e., O Allah!
