Make Dua After Burial

Uthman ibn Affan (radi Allahu anhu) relates that when the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) used to finish burying someone, he would stand by the grave and say, ‘All of you, ask Allah to forgive your brother and make him steadfast, for he is now being asked.” [Abu Dawud]

The dead are questioned in their graves. It is legally valid and recommended after burial for a living person to ask Allah to forgive the deceased and make him steadfast for the questioning of the two angels.

No Prophet After Me

Thawban (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.W) said: "The Hour shall not be established until tribes of my Ummah unite with the idolaters, and until they worship idols. And indeed there shall be thirty imposters in my Ummah, each of them claiming that he is a Prophet. And I am the last of the Prophets, there is no Prophet after me." Ridiculing Allah’s Commands

Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “It was said to the children of Israel, ‘Enter the gate (of the town), prostrate (in humility) and say: Hittatun (repentance) i.e., O Allah! Forgive our sins.’ But they entered by dragging themselves on their buttocks, so they did something different (from what they had been ordered to do) and said, ‘Hittatun,’ but added, ‘A grain in a hair.’” [Sahih Bukhari] The Bani Israil have distinguished themselves in history as the most disobedient and rebellious of people.
